Well I figured I'd bring some life to this forum, with a topic that will cause fangirls to spazz!foam and die:

Unfortunately, because these is the internets, drama llamas and general BAW abound. So, do you think they should do the remake or do a sequel from the first anime?
Personally I like the manga more (since I'm a die hard EdxWinry fan) and I personally prefer my wrench-throwing mechaniphile's with a bit of personality, y'know? So the remake is alright with me. I mean Marvel does it all the time and look how popular they are.

I actually paused reading the manga when... nvm, it'll be a spoiler. But I too am wondering how they're going to start. I'm fine either way, from the beginning or from where they left off.
Like a couple of comments on those sites, I too believe that if they were to start from where they left off, they would go for when the chinese dudes and dudettes come in. It'll be interesting on how they'll be picking it up from the movie, hehe.

But I wonder how they're going to round off the ending of the first season.

Well I think they're actually for sure just remaking the whole thing, from what I gather.
I doubt they'd make fillers, since the manga has a good amount of chapters to it.
